Literary Studies & Research Centre

Manuscript Submission

Literary Studies & Research Centre has to be very selective of what they choose to represent, and all of their decisions are based on a frank assessment governed by an Press Committee comprising senior academics from various Universities throughout the World. The Press Committee reports their review on the recommended proposals for publication every two weeks during term time (and monthly during the vacations). When a recommendation is accepted by the Committee, a contract is then offered to the author(s) or editor(s).

The Centre does not publish new fiction, poetry or other forms of creative writings, if they are not scholarly and thoughtful books for the educated general readers. Everything the Centre publishes must have some educational and/or scholarly value. The Centre does not publish autobiography or memoir, overtly devotional or religious tracts, or political polemic, cookbooks, car handbooks or manuals, and highly illustrated books for the general reader.

The author(s) or editor(s) have to prepare a proposal that can be fully, carefully and rapidly assessed, what follows is a brief, general description of what the Press Committee need to see in order to consider a proposal for a new book, and how they will evaluate it for publication. These notes are not exhaustive, and they should certainly not inhibit author(s) or editor(s) from discussing any queries they may have with the Press Committee, who will always be pleased to hear from them.

Send your proposal to: literary @ eilab.org (please, delete the empty spaces before and after the @ sign)
